Video Recording Guidelines

Practice. Practice. Practice.
Be in your complete Type A uniform. No jewelry.
Find a location that is well-lit with natural sunlight or plenty of indoor lighting. Avoid having a window or light source behind you as this will make you look silhouetted.
Choose a quiet location with little background noise (street sounds, music, other people)
For best audio quality, use a dedicated audio recorder and not solely depend on your camera’s microphone.
Set your phone, or DSLR camera on a tripod or steady surface (please do not hold your camera while shooting to avoid shaky footage)
Record using headphones/earphones and sing along with the MP3 as a guide for proper timing.
Set video resolution to 1080p Full HD with aspect ratio of 16:9.
Shoot horizontally (use landscape mode and avoid portrait mode)
Position camera at eye level (if you can, avoid angles where the camera lens is looking up or down on you)
Leave Headroom – when filming, always be sure to leave room above the head.
Keep still for 5 seconds at the beginning and end of your recording. After last note, please stay still with bright facial expression for about 5 seconds.
Smile… you’re on camera!
Save your video file and name it as follows: Your Full Name_Club_Conference_Email Address (Sample: JohnDoe_NewLifeClub_ManSask_jdoe@gmail.com)
